Wow! The holiday program was so impressive and filled with so many wonderful songs of the season. The fourth graders really impressed me by the way they not only sang, but also performed and memorized their recorder song and choreographed movements for their light show. It was amazing!
At our class party, the children enjoyed their time celebrating with one another while sipping hot cocoa and playing board games. A special thank you to the many wonderful parents who helped with our Hot Cocoa Cafe, as well as those who helped with donations: Mrs. Brillhart, Mrs. Olson, Ms. Tator, Mrs. Szlachcic, Mrs. Helmholdt and Mrs. Dirkse! As we prepare to close out the year, I want to take this opportunity to give thanks for this special group of fourth graders. They fill my heart with gladness each day by the way they work as learners, but also by the way they conduct themselves as citizens and friends to one another.
I wish you all wonderful moments with family and friends during this holiday vacation, and a very happy start to your 2018 new year!!!
