Welcome back!! We are hoping that the weather will be kinder to us so that we can return back to our regular school schedule. I have missed the kids very much and it was nice to see them this past Wednesday and Friday. 
Due to our absences, we will do our very best to pick up where we left off in all our subjects.
Important Information and Reminders:
*Boys Event: The outing will take place at BAM! in Holland on March 9. More info will become available on our school blog.
*Winter Wear: Please have your child dress for the COLD temperatures. Boots are still very helpful when it is snowy and wet. Double check that all gear is labeled with their last name.
*Valentine’s Day: Our party and volunteers are set for Thurs., Feb. 14, from 2:30-3:30pm. Please refer to the pink letter that had previously arrived home regarding our Valentine Exchange with information regarding a Valentine box or bag, along with a class list of friends. If your child is participating, please remind them to bring both to school, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, if they have not already done so. Thanks!
*Homework: Read a minimum of 20 minutes every night. Remember to log the time and pages on your reading log and return it to school each day.
*Online Homework: Just a reminder that we have many great educational on-line resources for our students through their Clever Portal. I highly recommend that your child do at least 10 minutes a day of math facts on their Moby Max account. For more information, please visit my past post regarding Clever.
*Math Homework: Please continue to encourage your child to independently try their personal best and return it the following day to school. You will see it arrive home each Tuesday and Thursday.
*Backpack Snack: Thank you for packing a healthy daily snack for your child.
*Library: Thank you for your support! Please continue to help your child return their library book(s) each Wednesday so that they may check out new books of interest.
*Early Release Day: Friday, March 8, at 12:15pm. Sack lunches will be available for ordering, if needed.
