Wow! The holiday program was so impressive and filled with so many wonderful songs of the season. The fourth graders really impressed me by the way they not only sang, but also the way they performed the light show in sync – It was amazing!
To celebrate the season, our class met with our first grade buddies to build gingerbread houses. We also enjoyed a class party where the children enjoyed their time celebrating with one another while sipping hot cocoa and playing various minute-to-win-it games. A special thank you to the many wonderful parents who helped with our Hot Cocoa Cafe and Games, as well as those who helped with donations: Mrs. Burch, Mrs. Duwe, Mrs. Gilchrist, Mrs. Rufner, Mrs. McWilliams, Mrs. Phillips and Mrs. Zwier! As we prepare to close out the year, I want to take this opportunity to give thanks for this special group of fourth graders. They fill my heart with gladness each day by the way they work as learners, and as friends to one another.
I wish you all wonderful moments with family and friends during this holiday vacation, and a very happy start to your 2020 new year!!!
