Ice Cream Celebration: We have worked so hard this year! The Kindergarten teachers wanted to help celebrate their learning this year by having all 100 Kindergartners come together to enjoy a cool treat on the playground together. We are proud of you, boys and girls!
Farewell 5th Graders: We are so very thankful for our 5th grade buddies! To show our appreciation we made cards to help with their send of to Middle School, and we shared popsicles with them on their big 4th/5th Playground! We had a great time together and will miss them!
A big THANK YOU to Mrs. Woodring and her 1st grader class for the fun tour of their classroom, and for sharing with us what to expect next school year!
During our final week of school, we shared many fun and memorable activities together. Besides our first grade visit, farewell to our buddies, and ice cream celebration, we also enjoyed our time decorating the bus loop for our last day of school! They did an awesome job!
Last Day of Kindergarten: Filled with quality time together! We especially enjoyed our picnic lunch outside and the famous noodle send off of the school buses! It was a great day!
Important Information and Reminders:
- Report cards: Will be mailed out on Friday, June 17.
- Next Year’s Teacher: Your child’s 1st grade teacher will be listed in the comments section on their report card.
- Summer Library: Georgetown Elementary will offer an open library each Tuesday this summer from 10:00am-12:00pm, through July 26. Please stop by to select a “good fit” book for your child to enjoy this summer!
I would like to say thank you to my Kindergarten students for a GREAT school year! I enjoyed our time together and am so very proud of you all.
Parents, I hope you have had a chance to check their backpacks throughout the week to see how much the children have grown. It was such a special moment for me to sort through each of their collections, from writing pieces to pictures. Your children have accomplished so much! They are definitely ready for First Grade!
Thank you again to all my families for the support you have shown throughout the year, and most of all, thank you for sharing your children with me.
