The children did a fantastic job and should be so proud of themselves. Thank you to Mrs. VanRijs, our Kindergarten Music Teacher, who helped the children learn and prepare their songs and moves for the program. It was a memorable night!

Clik here to view.Math: We began Unit #3 this week. We discussed the term “partners,” and created math equations with both objects and people – a fun time for all. The children are getting the hang of it. They are becoming more attentive as to whether the equation will be an addition or subtraction problem, and whether to add more or take away. Information arrived home in your child’s home folder this week as to how you can help your child practice at home. Thank you!

The first was “The Pine Tree Parable,” by Liz Curtis Higgs, which was a sweet story about the gift of giving. The second was a selection by Matthew, titled “You are Special,” by Max Lucado. Thank you, Mrs. Zwier, for stopping by to visit and read to us!
